Carrie Schreiner’s F1 Academy livery breaks cover in pre-season testing

21.02.2024

Hinwil, 21 February 2024 – A new page of history was written as the team’s F1 Academy driver, Carrie Schreiner, hit the track in her fully liveried car at the Circuit of Barcelona-Catalunya for the series’ first pre-season test.

In unmistakable Fluo Racing Green and black, the look and feel of the Sauber Academy’s F1 Academy car, operated by Campos, was finally unveiled, sporting a brand-new livery that mirrors the Hinwil team’s 2024 Formula One World Championship challenger, the recently unveiled C44. Paired with matching overalls and garage design, the new livery will thus reflect that of drivers, Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu, further strengthening the tie between the F1 Academy and the supporting Formula One teams.

Starting from this season, F1 Academy will receive full support from Formula One, as the sport aims to ensure young female talent has a structured pathway for them to be able to rise through the ranks.

Following another pre-season testing session which is currently underway in Saudi Arabia, the 2024 F1 Academy season will officially kick off at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit in March, as a support event to the Formula One Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. Clad in black and green and representing the team on and off the track, Carrie Schreiner will be lining up on the grid with one clear goal: to go for the F1 Academy crown.
