Welcome to the Audi F1 Project. 

Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026. 

The new team has three locations. Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany) is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. The Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. The Sauber Motorsport Technical Center, UK will be operational this year. The Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of the chassis and race operations.

Your mission

Be part of our strong PLM-focused design team, where fabrication and assembly activities rely on the seamless operation of underlying processes.

  • Support our highly qualified designers in resolving CATIA-3DExperience issues and enhancing methodologies
  • Play a pivotal role in the ongoing development of our CATIA-3DExperience Platform. This includes researching new applications and functionalities for integration, managing platform customizations, and actively participating in release upgrade projects
  • Enhance our CAD/PLM methodologies for design processes, conduct training sessions, and provide support
  • Install and configure CATIA Workstations including user and client configurations

Your profile

  • A completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive, Computer Science, or a comparable technical education
  • Practical experience in using, supporting, and administering modern CAD and PLM systems
  • In-depth knowledge of CATIA-3DExperience and/or CATIA-V5 is highly advantageous
  • Strong understanding of Design Methods using CAD and PLM
  • Additional experience with CAM and CAE applications is beneficial
  • Programming skills in Visual Basic, macros, scripting, etc.
  • Communicative, self-initiative, proactive, and solution-oriented as a team player
