Meet the C45

The Stake F1 Team KICK Sauber C45 is the latest contender developed by the Hinwil team, set to compete in the 2025 Formula 1 season. The car builds upon the platform of its predecessor, the C44, which showed a significant performance step during the final rounds of last season, aiming to continue the team’s upward trajectory. Hundreds of experts from engineering and production have developed this car, integrating new aerodynamic and mechanical components to unlock the team’s full potential.

A BOLD NEW DIRECTION

The C45 is a combination of evolution and revolution. Development efforts in this final year of the current regulations were focused on a fully re-engineered aerodynamic package, alongside with mechanical refinements underneath the bodywork and new suspension. The new car is engineered to extract maximum performance from a solid foundation, with the objective of placing us in a much-improved position compared to our direct competitors.

FIGHTING ON TWO FRONTS

The development of the C45 will continue alongside work on the team’s 2026 car, the first to be developed under a revolutionary set of regulations. While this presents a major challenge to the team, our technical department is confident in its resources and ability to be competitive in 2025, while developing a strong contender for the 2026 season.
